| Rey’s Theme by John Williams from Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens |

| Sheet Music Currently Unavailable |

ATTENTION:

Unfortunately, only “official” editions of John Williams’ compositions will be approved for publication online, and legal action may be taken against those who do not comply. This means that transcribers, such as myself, will no longer be able to transcribe and publish any of John Williams’ compositions (regardless of licensing status), and may face legal consequences if they continue to do so.

Musicnotes has, of course, been affected by this news and thus, at the request of John Williams’ publishers (notably Warner and Disney) all John Williams transcriptions have been/are in the process of being removed from Musicnotes. It is also confirmed that Warner’s print rights administrator, Alfred Publishing, along with Disney and John Williams’ team, will enforce this strict policy on all platforms and individuals (again, regardless of licensing status). So, eventually, all John Williams transcriptions will be taken down from all platforms (not just Musicnotes).

Now, because Musicnotes has been affected, I have been affected as well. Luckily for me, I did not make many John Williams covers/transcriptions, however, I did make one; “Rey’s Theme”. So, unfortunately, I have to announce that the sheet music for my transcription of “Rey’s Theme” is no longer available.

Musicnotes is currently working on this matter and are in talks with major publishers who have agreed to help. So, hopefully some time in the near (or distant) future, John Williams’ transcriptions may be re-published once again.

Thankyou all for your continued support.
